Draught of Posts

I do have an excuse for not posting, the past two weeks have been a flurry of school work, and the wee before was some good ole fun down in Arkansas, where we were isolate from any fancy internet machines.
So what could I have been doing that has been more important than blogging?
Freaking Rocket Science, Which has been sucking my life dry. People sometimes ask me, I thought you liked Engineering, why do you complain about it so much? Well, let me paint an analogy for ya, I like pasta, I mean a lot too. But, if somebody forced me to eat 5 pounds of pasta every day for four years I would not be a happy camper. There are of course those who enjoy eating a garbage truck full of pasta every month, these people are called Engineering Grad students.
Anyway, I'll blog my mind out this weekend when I have some time. In the meantime here's some pictures of our rocket engine test stand that we've been spending a large amount of time learning how to build and then building. Note that I mentioned learning how to build, I built my first circuit (soddering included), drill through quarter inch steel plate, bend plumbing, cut tubing, rebuilding valves, and cutting stainless steel tubing. Our test engine is the steel block on the right hand side, all the tubes going everywhere will hold H2O2, some Methane, and some Nitrogen gas.
Another view from the opposite direction, the tanks mounted on the wall contain our oxidizer and fuel.

Anyway, back to work, I'll try to cop some videos when we finally get to fire the thing, assuming it doesn't blow up.
